The past couple of weeks have been a blur on the PHANTOM front. Just a bunch of email shooting, number crunching (aka holy shit thats going to cost an arm… and a leg), and lots of mocking up of stuff. Throw in time management and coordination in there somewhere… especially when you’re dealing with sample, production, and shipping times. It all sounds like crazy big time stuff but its reality even when we’re talking t-shirts. I just hope everything falls into place in the days leading up to the launch. OK, I’m about to have a stress attack just typing about it so lets get to the food pictures (aka how I deal)…

Escape from SD
Was in LA this past weekend to see some old faces. It was a nice break from my usual weekends quarantined in the PHANTOM CAVE. I’ll let the pictures do the talking…
Happy Early Birthday, Daniel (Marna Ro)! He had to blow out the candles, take 6 shots, drink coffee, down 4 beers each with a shot of Jameson inside them, and get a kiss from Ralph. We don’t mess around.
Skip the girl fights, emotional heart-to-hearts, and all the craziness that happened inside EXCHANGE and fast forward to fourth meal… El Tauro Tacos Truck.
The next day I trekked a little ways north to visit Louis (Louis Trinh Photography) and his new pad which happens to be down the street from Universal Studios.
Grabbed lunch at a local spot… Good Neighbor Restaurant. So good.
Judging from the decor, must be a favorite among celebs… even saw actor Oscar Nunez from “The Office” there!
I told him to look straight into the camera…

Louis trying to set the mood with his record player that plays too slow and too fast… never in the middle.
His roommate Luis was gearing up for a photo shoot… some DJ chick… didn’t catch her name… or snap any pics. I am useless.
